In the past, I was told, several attempts by several teams in a 5-year period were made to redesign and reorganize the Corporate IT site but all had failed. See Old designs prior to 2004 (pdf)
In 2004, I worked in the first small cross-functional team to successfully redesign and reorganize the information architecture of the site in a speeding 3-month period. Since the initial launch in 2004, I now manage the design strategy and web administration side with the assistance of a junior designer who leads the tactical web updates. |
